Wow, it's been quite a while since I've posted here. Where do I begin???

Well, I left home July 3rd for the July 5th orientation. It was a pretty hectic since it was a short week but I managed to survive it. I was lucky enough to get hooked up with a trainer that Friday afternoon (there were people from the previous week class with no trainer). We left that Saturday (July 9th) with our first load out of the Kraft caves down the Temple, TX. I drove a big rig for the first time that day (5 hrs).

After being out for about two weeks or about 91 hrs in, my trainer said he was comfortable with me and I was ready to test for my CDL. Got back to SPRMO on July 22nd. I passed the backing and pre-trip but failed the road test on July 25th. I did my re-test for my road-trip on July 26th and obtained my CDL. On July 29th, I left with my TNT instructor. After four weeks out with him, I've completed a little over 16K miles.

My Prime experience has been wonderful so far. Other than being at Wal Mart for hours or having a 6 stop floral route, I don't have anything bad to say about Prime. I must admit that I've seen may other drives have trouble backing but not one of them has been a Prime drive....lol. I've had the opportunity to meet Cage and OpenRoadDreamer...both are great guys.

I'm currently on some much needed home time. When I go back out, I will be knocking out the remaining miles so I can do my upgrade. After my upgrade, I will be running team with my TNT instructor. This will give me the much needed winter driving experience.

Now, I'm going to enjoy this time off. Be safe out there Prime!!

    OpenRoadDreamer Thanks this.
