Thanks JJ, I am mainly interested in Central, but as you said, lots of other people with experience/knowledge of other companies so all information is really appreciated as my pet is very important to me... otherwise wouldn't be asking :) Thanks again for the thread--it's been great! :biggrin_25514:

It is true I don't work for them anymore but I still have a lot of friends that still do so I stay up on the changes within especially the company bs. As far as the pet policy. No they don't. The company I work for now has as a no cost pet policy. Jess and I bought our own truck so pets are not and issue. I do know there might be a special provision but you have to have a condition that qualifies for pet therapy. There was a couple that leased when I did that got that exemption.jj

Well just had two bad weeks out of three. Not happy, but it happens..

I sincerely hope that wasn't due to what Klingon has mentioned.

    Lady K Thanks this.

Actually refrigerated freight is not bad right now. The rates are still very high and the number of loads moving is still very good. Since it is produce season.

Oops posted in the wrong forum just now!

Looking into going to Central Refrigerated Service for their school and getting experience under my belt. Looked into some other companies but not really getting a good feeling about the others. I am hoping to hear from someone who works for them or has in the last year because I might have some other questions. Thanks in advance.

I checked with one of the dm's that I trust and he said the only time you will get a planner doing dispatch is on the weekend and it would be Billy in crswvs doing the load. The planners don't want the headache of dealing with drivers and load problems.
