jam, when you get out and about in your RV you ought to come over here and ride the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's only about 40 miles from my home here. All the bikers love the ride. No CMV allowed.

well,I'm an otr driver that started around the first of the year.I was born in 54, and decided to try trucking for a number of reasons. In my time on the road I've found that if you take the time to do a little exploring, and meet new people it can be great fun. I carry a bike with me and use it as often as possible. I also have rented cars in New Orleans,Fort Worth,Tulsa, and San Francisco when I've had the time. To me trucking is a little like being a hobo and getting paid for it. I really have no idea where I'll be next, and sometimes the shortfalls of the industry can be a bit taxing on your patience, but no matter where I am,the desert country on the mexican border, the mountains of colorado,or the seaport in new jersey,I can always find something interesting, fun or maybe just plain stupid to do.......to me this IS RVing in its own right
