what is the average cost for a reman 10spd? i need a fro16210 oil cooled. i had my truck flashed with a big hp file, but the truck only has a 10spd tranny and peterbilt said it was rated @ 1850,but the part number on the tag suggest 1600.

ok,do i need to worry about blowing through another tranny any time soon? i thought with the extra torque i might need a heavier equip tranny.

If you dont know how to control the power with your right foot maybe you need to turn the motor back down.

Ok I should have been more clear..... The 16913 trans and the 18913 have the same bearings according to the guys who do my trans rebuilds. The 10's may be different?

    sandman,

you might try enabling the "softcruise" feature in the ecm if the fueling is too aggressive now on the cruise.

I had a sloppy shifter on a 2012 cascadia with eaton 10. The stick is a two piece unit that bolts to an offset before it goes into the top of the transmission. The two pieces are joined by two spaced rubber bushings. The upper part of the stick bells over the lower part of the stick where the rubber bushings are. Over time the top part of the stick works its way up until it comes off the lower bushing and wallers around on the top bushing, making shifting very sloppy. Remove the six bolts holding the boot to the floor and with a pair of visegrips clamped to the upper part of the stick (carfull not to pinch the air line) put your body weight down on the shifter as you work the visegrips back and forth. The top part of the stick will go back down on the lower bushing. Tight shifting again.:biggrin_25525:
