You certainly have misread the intention and comment in the post.

It was not meant as condescending or as an elitist. Just a fact of life we must all face.

You think you are the only one who likes to drive fast?

Now, with the story you have, did the trooper truly see this?

If so, it should be in the report, if not, fight the ticket.

My intention wasn't to irritate medic either .....I only wanted some opinions on the provision for non-cdl column and he kept quoting the other column.....

My apologies medic....like I said....I will fight this...I just wanted some of you to concentrate on that other column because of the specific IF statement....

At this point, your only choice is to not get a conviction on the motorcycle ticket.

You basically need to have the ticket reduced to a lower speed, or some other violation not classed as a negative impact in table 2.

The CDL has become a thing that we must watch at all times. Not just in the truck.

The trooper said he saw the car switch lanes and I appeared out of nowhere.....he told me I should have choosen the brakes. I've had 2 friends die on bikes. One was cut off by a van making a left in front of him and he went head first into it....the second slammed his brakes and was crushed by the car behind him. That kinda thing burns into your brain.

Irregardless...these aren't meant as excuses because I was guilty of speeding. But im just putting out my mindset and why I did what I did.

I'm telling you this because it happened to me and both tickets were NOT in a CMV.

You NEED to call a lawyer.

And the other two guys ARE right.

I suppose you have me confused with the guy with the tickets.

I have been saying the same thing.

If you just pay and don't get it reduced, your employer will have to report it to their insurance carrier. You will probably be out on the street after words.
Then you WILL have a problem, cause no other carrier will be allowed to hire you. From an insurance prospective.
You have to fight every citation if you plan to hold a CDL.

60 day suspension is the least of your worries. Once suspended, you'll lose your job and trying to get another job will be next to impossible. 15 over and a suspension, nobody will touch you for 3 years.

You're only hope is to get the ticket reduced.

Have you seen Harold and Kumar's Escape from Guatanamo Bay?

    Time for your sandwich! :)
