Hi, your comment worries me, I hauled a $4000 load for them 2 weeks ago across the country to Miami. Will keep you posted if I get paid or not.
-
How long before you usually get paid by these companys? I be calling them
-
It looks like a few threads down they are accusing bayou of holding their freight and demanding more money.
-
Ware is this at wee never even put the load on the truck at 5pm they faxed a copy of the confirmation and said load was cancelled that dont happen with hay!!!! i called the place we were picking up from they said how could a broker pay $1,100 more than they are paying them to move the load
-
anyone can call internet truck stop and ask them about empire freight lines they will start off by telling you why there account has been suspeded
-
empire freightlines is bogus they take loads and book them for more money than they are to recive everyone beware they just want money and will not pay carriers
-
Come on guys....If you plan to go on your own-atleast do your homework before you book. Check their MC #- if its under a year, ask for 50% upon picking up the load by faxing them the bol and 50% when you reach the shipper but do not hit the docks. Freight comes off when you get paid. A good new start up brokerage will comply as they know they have to build up reputation.
And as a general rule, if it sounds to good to be true....... -
Work for a collection agency, won't say which one, but I am 99.9% this is the same guy that had Union Pacific LLC MC#743793
And he has had others before. Not only are his rates too good to be true for the carriers, they are too good to be true for the shippers. -
we did a load of hay for them out of Nebraska to Pa. found out they not only booked the load by 1150.00 more they gave the shipper a 10% discount if they paid them upon invoice reciept and with a wire direct to there account. Now where is the justice in a starving industry with people like this.
