Schneider OTR drivers

Sounds like rumor to me. Schneider has been in business quite a long time, I hardly doubt they aren't hauling freight. Good chance you talked to a disgruntled employee or someone that doesn't know what they are doing out there.

 

I think they get plenty of miles, too many maybe as it seems the main complaint is they never get home.

 

I get as many miles as I care to run because I do not run my 70 out on purpose and as long as I run about 2500/week, I am happy with my pay. However, I usually actually get more than 2500 miles per week and even at rookie pay that is plenty for me and more than I made in my last career where I could be getting shot at everyday. However, I am not an OTR driver, I am a regional driver, and I have gotten home every time I have wanted to be home at least within 24 hours of the day that I want to get home in the rare occasion that I don't get home on the day that I want to. Hope this helps.

 

They keep me running. I always have a another load ready when I am about 1 hour out from my current load drop time.

 

This is an older post so are you still otr with schneider and getting plenty of miles ?
