FINALLY....SOmebody catches on to that....
Yeah I know which one you are talking about (scales) now. I had a roadside inspection the other day in Iowa and passed with flying colors...maybe cause it was I just finished hauling bacon grease and that smell always puts people in a good mood.... -
I wonder how many of these educated truck drivers got on the CB and asked him what he was hauling?
-
i love seeing the guys hauling Tanks backwards, i bet they dont have problems with tailgaters with that big 'ol cannon pointed backwards like that! lol

i'm suprised they didnt make him tarp it. i hauled a jet engine for air france up to jfk intl and couldnt move unless tarped.
-
Im pretty sure its not a live missle
... With the Hunstville space museum up the road, maybe a museum piece?
There were a couple other guys standing around snapping shots too.Mud Dog Thanks this. -
Your kidding right?????
Anything Avation related MUST be:
1. Tarped if on a Flat bed
2. on a air ride trailer...That goes for parts as well, you try to deliver a starter for a plane even a little cessna in a spring ride trailer your takeing your $2000 paper weight with you it WILL NOT ever be put on an aircraft....PERIOD
Stupid yes, but the FAA rules/regs are there for everyones saftey unlike the DOT BS over trucking.
p.s if you dont already know i graduated from BTC as a A&P Aircraft Tech back in 2007

I know, went through the whole deal verifying the trailer securement and explained to me why. i didnt care thought it was cool compared to just haulin steel or wood. im just saying . a missle you think they would want it out of sight regardless if de commissioned or not. with all this heightened security and all.

Where did you get the jet engine for AF out of if you dont mind me asking. I am familiar with the engines they use, General Electric, and was wondering if it was for a 744 or a 777?
