I love MT and its the first step towards my retirement goal of buying ranch land to build home. Ultimately would like my neighbors to be at least 2 miles away...LOL!

 

i donno how much you know about MT, but 95% of it is privatly owned. So land like your talking about will be hard to get.

Lots of great farm land in the US just not in MT from what i've heard/read.

You have heard wrong then. Lots of ranch land for sale out there, especially around the Missoula area. We may even buy an existing homestead if the right one comes along.

Anyway well good luck with that move, someone has to live there, right? We have some pretty cool local regional stuff up there too. The only reason why i would ever want to live up that way is to pull Rocky Mt. Doubles!
