He is just looking for anywhere he can Roehl bash... Sorry Festus you had a bad experience, it happens with some guys, well most guys that start out. You have to have a pretty thick skin for this business. Good luck at Burger King, I hope that goes well for you.

Thanks for the good luck at Burger King. I'll quit my $52,000 a year job as soon as I turn in my application and they hire me to be the manager. As soon as I get hired paoldschool, I'll hire you to scrub my floors. That probably would be the only job at my store you could qualify for besides taking out the trash and picking up the cig butt's left by paying customers. -
Thanks... I've been around long enough that there aren't many things that I let bother me. As an I/C, I choose what is important and what isn't.

I'm not definitely leaving, it is planned though. The difference is once I leave I will never put roehl down. Our Outlook on business is not so different, but if your fm said that there are certain channels in place that you could have utilized to help solve your problems. And I don't know that you didn't but I think if done correctly any issue at roehl can be solved with positive attitude and talking to the right people about your issues. I may be completely wrong, but this is just my experience. I haven't always had this Outlook about roehl, I once was very unhappy here but i stuck it out and learned the hard way that I'm not going to change them, but I can change myself to benefit them, which in turn changed my entire life for the better.Unka_D Thanks this.

And if I retire here that's fine by me as well. I love my truck, and my fm is like one of my buddies. If I do leave roehl it will be a very very bittersweet feeling. I am sure, and I know they don't want me leaving for a fact. With my first lease truck I hated it it was wore out and looked just like every company truck, I only leased it waiting for a nicer truck to come available. A year went by with them saying they had no trucks, finally I told them I was looking at leasing a truck at schneider I think we see what their response was seen below

I posted about this on a different thread but I had an argument with some young chick in Marshfield and she told me that I didn't know how to drive. This is to a guy that has over 1.5 million (at that time more now) safe driving under his belt. I had a few choice words for her and turned in my keys. The person on the other end of the phone is the make or brake for the company. My experience with some ***bandit at JB Hunt would fill a book and I think I will start a thread on that company.

What kind of a-holes refuse to hire drivers that get nailed for 20 over the posted limit?

Perry Mason to Roehl's rescue!

I was hoping for more of a Columbo, but I'll take Perry Mason.
