I wonder why so many of the whining, sniveling posts from new or former drivers I read don't seem to understand that THIS is the work ethic one must have in any profession to get the best, choicest picks.

another week is done, and in the books... 2666 miles this week, with Monday being an off day while I reset my hours in Laredo. Left Laredo with a 2 stopper, Smyrna TN, and DEetroit MI... fully expected to be asked to give the load up, so someone in Michigan could get home, and that is what happened, right after I made the first drop.

Then it was down to murfreesboro, and off to Houston... then from Houston, up to Clarksville AR, where I am tonight, delivering in the AM. So not a great week, but not a bad week either.

Any bets on where I go to pick up chicken from here? Russelville or Rogers? Sure were many Stevens setting at the truck stops in Russelville. Sure hope there are some loads to pick up on Monday, with all the delayed loads going to the East coast. Freight will be interesting for the next week, as the disruption in movement ripples through the system. If I was closer to home I would just take the week off.

My dream run into L.A. got put on hold for a repower heading into Az. We didnt have time to make it anyway so took it as far as we could. Repowered again to come back to HEB San Antonio, lmfao, then second drop in Houston. GAWD, I just want to get outta TEXAS!!! lmfao...

Dispatched moved up our appt in Houston, looks like we are going to get ANOTHER load out of Tyson in Seguin headed to Cali again but will have to get another repower... :/

I cant wait till I get into T4-5 so that we can actually run these loads they keep giving us. WE ARE NOT A TEAM!!! Seems like we are just shuttling trailers across Texas, lmao...

Update on MY Mile progress: ~3500 in 9 days. Two days are over the 550 mile mark, but still looking to hit 600...
