Yeah, unfortunately your right. As long as you make it past the 90 days. The failure rate is just so high they need to keep the seats warm some how. What do they care if you succeed or not, they need to make payments on those 3rd party lease's! Hopefully though this guy has some sort of common sense and will heed our advice.

There are two kinds of owner operators out there. Ones that want a shiny truck and ones that want a successful business!

Like Dave Ramsey says, "shiny hook syndrome"! Doesn't have to be food or have any bait on it, as long as its shiny some dumb fish will bite at it and get filleted!

I will lease you. Just give me a $1k a week and pay for the fuel to drive my truck. Very good deal!

I hate to say it but I jumped in feet first and I'm doing well for myself. I am the exception not the rule and I still had to drive for the company for 6 months before they would sign me. I do not recommend this I was extremely lucky in my company choice. I relied heavily on my family's knowledge of trucking to help me in bad situations. There are some ok company's that will lease you a truck once you have a year exp. And even they aren't fool proof. I wouldn't wish cr england, prime, central ref. Or any other company's that operate like them on my worst enemy. My opinion of these company's are frey miller, obviously roehl and Maby john christner trucking. I'm sure I'm leaving some okay ones out. Please take everyone else's advice and wait a little while before you just leap.

I would love to jump in feet first but I think it would suit anyone to drive for a bit longer and see if you can do it.

I drove for JCT and Central. Central by far is a much better leasing option!
