I am new to the forum but have been following all of you for the past couple of months. I guess as many of you have said, It is a mid life crisis that has made me want to switch careers from the desk to the truck and the good news is I just got my acceptance letter from Mike today. I guess I'll be joining the Trenton class on 9/19

 

I'm scheduled for the 19th. I'm like you in that I'm getting out behind a drafting table instead of a desk. I can't wait! I've started to do this about three times and something has happened to keep me from doing it. My last day at work is the 16th. The count down has begun!!!!

I heard about a trucker out of Shelbyville, Ky pulled into a weight station in Kentucky and as he did he blew a trailer tire. Officer comes out and does a level 2 inspection and writes a warning ticket for driving with a flat tire. The guy said that is 8 + 3 points on his CVA plus you can't fight a warning. If he had got a ticket then he could have fought that. That really sucks!
