I am trying to find out anything about Driver Solutions asi am thinking about signing up with them for the CDL.
I can´t find any info on they site about the training period, all i can find is that its 3 week in classroom and thats all.
What i need to find out is are there any road training and is the 3 weeks all it takes for me to get the CDL or are there more time before i get in my own truck.
The guy i talked to would/could not answer that question so i am asking here as i need to know that before starting.
Thanks
Anyone know anything about Driver Solutions ??

If I was you I would forgo paying all that money and just get the CDL through Prime.... I went through the Prime program and it was great for learning. Go through a school and you'll be sitting in a classroom most if the time

My problem is that i don´t have the money to pay it my self and prime will have proff for 2 years work history in the us and sinces i have only been here for 2½ years on a greencard and noone wanted to hire me i am pretty screwed on that part, this is my only option right now
-
If you sign up with Prime they will take you on and you don't have to pay for any schooling? Is there a catch to the program?

When does the visa/green card expire? Is it an H-2? Who did you come in on the visa to actually work for? if you are getting down to the wire on time you might try to reapply so you don't fall to that sad "illegal" title that is becoming a racist and hate type of "crime" here!

My Greencard are good until 2019 so i have plenty of time, i got in the usa as i married a lady in virginia.
I cant keep the rules for prime as i dont have a steady work history for the past 2 years as i have not been able to find any work, i then tried to start my own company but never got the paperwork done.
The company are not going well and my wife and i are in agreement that me becoming a truckdriver are the best thing for me/us right now, but again i cant show a work history.Last edited: Aug 31, 2011

Only catch is you have to stay at least a year from the date you get your cdl. If you leave before that, you owe them for the school.
