8:00 am: Truck Stop in Columbia, SC with my current suk arse trucking company.
8:01 am: Phone call to potential new company.
8:45 am: Return call with invitation to orientation this Monday, if I can make it. HECK YEAH!! On my way to turn in my old truck.
1:00 PM: Phone call to Freightliner dealership to place a credit app.
4:00 PM: Approval to purchase basically any used truck on the lot.

    So, to summarize:

I quit my old job and turned in my truck at 5:30 PM today.
Sunday night I head off for my 3 day orientation. Monday or Thursday afternoon I go pick out my new truck, next week I start my own business as a Owner Operator in the trucking industry.

No, sorry. I gotta work on getting my hazmat back but needed to make a change QUICK. Don't fret though, I have known about the company I signed on with for some time. I didn't rush into them.

Congrats!!! I wish I had the guts you do but after working for dead end trucking company's for the last 15 years I have decided to hang up my boots and took a factory job.
I always wanted my own truck just never had the nerve or know how I guess
    CONGRATS to you!
