Lexington, VA with a load to Front Royal, drop, then live load a 200 miles HAZ-Mat. Turned it down at first, then they sweetened the pot. Take the short one and stacked me with a 1300 one to drop in LA on Sat. My DM definately knows now, NO MORE EAST COAST. She agrees. The fr8 is crap accroding to her.

Well, I'm back home in Marinette, WI on my time off, having a few beers, so here's how my week went with 'ol JB.

After I took my load down to the rails in Chicago, got the message to take my truck to Iowa for a B-service. So I get a load out of Chicago to West Bend, spend the next couple days there, get a load back to Chicago just deadheading to Wheeling and doing a local load from wheeling to the the rail on Western, then get a few more short loads running my usuals from Chicago to Wisconsin. Had to go back to the shipper on the load I ran yesterday since I was too heavy on the tandems and the load was going to CA, so I couldn't slide them at all. Slid the 5th wheel all the way to the front, but that only moved 20lbs when I was 380lbs over.

I think the way I ran this past week, my delay/breakdown/drop and hook pay is going to be more than my mileage pay.

Also, I just looked at my check statement and I just found out I paid for the hotel room I stayed in getting the B-service in Iowa twice. TWICE! Yes, I screwed up writing a comcheck, and the hotel manager wanted a NEW check with a NEW access number, so I called JB and they gave me another one, so yeah, now I'm short 130 dollars on my check, so I'm going to have to call about that tomorrow. I also left the hotel reciept in the room I was staying, so I also have to tell them about that.

I'm going to have a HUGE check next week, if I get all that hotel money back, plus what I get what I'm doing normally, plus I think I get 500 dollars as my part of my signing bonus for being there for 90 days.
