Crawfordsville girl struck by semi, killed

That's a pretty bad misjudgement.

I remember just last week I was driving on this road with my friend and in the middle of the road was this tennis ball. At the side of the road on the curb was a young blonde girl standing there. I stopped and waved to her to get the ball, but she didn't. So I passed slowly and then looking in my rear view I could see the girl looking both ways not once, but it must have been 5 times in each direction. You knew this girl was taught well when crossing the street. She took no chances at all. There were no cars infront of me or behind me as I drove by the ball and yet she still looked no less than 5 times both ways.
