1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

We need o/o's for hauling frac sand in central Texas, need a blower, it would be good if you had a sand trailer, will pay more if you do, pay is $ 20.00 an hour, we pay for fuel, plates, double your P/I on your rig. You will work under our authority.

You can get $27 per hour to drive someone else's truck in the oilfield plus OT.

To think anyone would be desperate enough to take $20 per hour and expenses is ludicrous.

Most company drivers get at least that much per hour in detention hauling frac sand.

Maybe we just don't understand what double your P/I is.

Maybe they are looking for both. This points to owner operators, " We need o/o's for hauling frac sand in central Texas, need a blower, it would be good if you had a sand trailer".

P/I means principal and interest, you can pull one of our trailers or bring your own sand trailer, will pay more if you have your own trailer. Thanx
