Welcome aboard everyone - looks like another large class in Trenton. You all will love Bill.
Look for us when we come through and make sure to say hello! -
Talked to an Attorney in the area - Fighting it will cost me about 5X more than the $120 fine and not to mention the time off from work I would have to take to be there. It's in Beckley, IL.
Greg - valid statement - however I dont recall if I looked in my left mirror before turning left. I was focused on the traffic clearing in front of me and ensuring no one was coming towads me since I was turning into on coming lanes. I fully didnt expect someone to come from my left on the wrong side of a four lane road. Maybe this is a $120 training aid - do you really look out your left mirror when you are turning into oncoming lanes. Just being honest and not a smart A@@. -
Thanks and will most definately say hey

Hello all, I am another in the class of 9/19. Physical and permit are done. I've been visiting this site for a few months and it really was invaluable in selecting a company, although I feel fortunate to be accepted by Millis. I have been following the exploits of the other Millis drivers who post here and have gained some valuable insight. I thank you gentlemen for sharing your ins and outs, ups and downs. The excitement of beginning this new career is building daily and I am looking forward to developing a camaraderie with all of you. This move has been about a year in the making for myself and I am eager to begin to say the least. Well I broke the ice!

On the hometime promise, I can tell you that Bill our instructor has said, you get the time off just like the promise said, and you have to schedule your hometime in advanced. But you have to know that they have to have a load going to that area, so not to deadhead you 200 miles homes. So you may have a bunch of small runs that week to keep you in the area or to get you to your home area, and you may be home a few hours later than you though but you will get there.
Again that is what we have been told at school and from drivers popping in and out it seems pretty accurate.
A driver who accumulates 14 days out without a 36 hr home period will receive a minimum of 72 hrs of uninterrupted home time. Unless my math is wrong that is the same as 14 on 3 off.
