that's happened on more than one occasion from what i've heard, Crazy. If this is the best fit for you, keep trying, that's the more important issue. If a company makes deliveries and pick-ups in your area, you should get more hometime. OK, usually.

Enjoy the weekend EZ, them trainers can rack em up with a co driver on board.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I'll be starting my 2nd week on the road and I'm very happy with them thus far.
If you are wanting to haul for them my suggestion is keep asking for a job.

    be safe crazy

I live in Ames, Iowa, and I called them and asked them what can they offer. I have 7 years experience, currently working for a flatbed outfit and have the experience. What they said was 34cpm, $20 tarp, and everybody has to go out with a trainer no matter how much experience they have. I had to turn them down, because that is a huge pay cut, and I am not going out with a trainer on something I already know how to do.

Had 8 months working flatbed and did the 2 weeks with a trainer. Felt like I could have gotten the same info in a two hour class on "how to fill out your paperwork". The road work was all the same, my opinion. After putting in time with any outfit, it's alway a step down to move elsewhere. But if your satisfied, it's best to stay, all the companies have the same problems. Another opinion.

Well that is why I choose them I wasn't worried about the driving I needed to learn securement. I needed a company that would take a student type driver. But I didn't want to work for a mega company.
