Guys on the home time if you turn it in 7 days in advance they will get you home. You might get home a day late but they will let you take a extra day off. As far as dead heading home they will do it because over the last year i have dead headed 200 miles home from Atlanta about 8 or 9 times. other times i would dead head home from Dalton or Calhoun than turn around on Monday and dead head right back there.

 

Well guys I turned my truck in yesterday in Cartersville. I start my new job on Tuesday here in town.

Ill still be driving, once i'm done with the on the job training part ill be working nights which is what i like to work.

 

yeah ive gotten physicals before. just got one like 2 months ago so im pretty sure ill pass lol...just trying to save up money for the training

 

Do they still have the Green Tree Inn or something like that there? I partied there in the early 80's. Was the only place to go party at the time.

 

Personally I find it hard to believe they would outright say "it's a lie". They will do their best to get you home when requested. But you got to remember you are here to move freight and that is going to come first. That's with any company. I can attest I have not had one single issue getting home when I've requested it. One time my dispatcher did ask me if the time I got there was important. I said no and he got me there later that night, but still on the day requested. If you work with them they will work with you.
