They are either asking on the phone, looking at porn on the pc, or they wave me by. I see trucks driving past even though I get the red light and the big purdie sign reads "all trucks stop".

Should I even bother? The smaller AG stations on the backspace always take down my truck info.

They usually never bother me pulling a reefer.
Better to stop than get chased down and a huge ticket....:biggrin_2554:

US 129 every other day for three dang years stopped, walked PPWK into office so lady could scan it.

Every time 24.5 -25 tons soy meal loaded Valdosta Ga delivered Branford or Mayo Fl. :biggrin_25518:

Never made a whole lot of sense. Never thought about not stopping though:biggrin_25519: saw the ticket for that decision when a bull rack blew by during a time they were blood testing for brucellosis:biggrin_2553:

That was stupid on his part. I'm either carrying doughnut mix or I'm empty. Nobody seems to care that trucks are passing the station. Then I have to pass the same truck a second time :biggrin_25510:

I even had produce on several times, had the window down with paperwork in my hand, and I still got waved by.:biggrin_2556:

Really depends on what they are looking for. Let some fruit flies get spotted and every load of vegetation will be examined. Cattle disease cases are like that. Most of the time it is flash the ppwk and all is good, maybe a look at an ear tag or two. If they are looking for something in particular...........

    Horses same way.

And occasionally they will get on a fuel kick.

Now I used to pick a mineral concentrate up in Bainbridge coming back across 90 I would always get a wave. Hell if early enough the morning guy was normally sitting in a lawn chair having a cig.

And prepass does work for them. That's why you see people passing them on 75-95-10

You blow past one hauling livestock you could lose you LH license and get a huge fine. I see them waving freight trucks through all the time but they always take my health papers and drivers lic. And scan them, and that's usually it unless they are particularly bored that day... Cabbage cops...

I think the WIM (weigh in motion) is the same way. I run across those empty and get pulled in and have to sit on their scale for several seconds as if someone inside is trying to figure out of the calculator take batteries or not. Only in FL.

    You too?
These days, when i go into a florida scale empty,I don't even bother looking where the green arrow is pointing.I just head straight for the scale, because that is the arrow I always get.
And I too am always on the scale for several seconds before getting a green light.
