Now that would be bad.

Coleman has 2 fans.... the outside one is a standard box type 4x4x1 used to cool your computer. The inside one is much smaller and much harder to replace cause it's attatched to the sandwich board with all the electronics. Real easy to break that thin "board" that's glued into place.
They're pretty much the "throwaway" they're designed to be. On the other hand they do make pretty good storage boxes. -
I cant afford $100 for a cooler every year.Op

buy it at Walmart, buy the extended warranty they offer for around $5, when its getting close to the year (end of warranty) go in and get a new cooler. They will extend the warranty another full year. At the end of that year, the cooler will be about shot, go in and get a new cooler, they will extend........

Can't y'all just use the fridge at home?

You can buy appropriate sized 12v fans for most of the thermoelectric fridges at a big electronics store, like frys. No, they won't be an exact replacement...but you can make them work.
On one of my colemans, I put a $5 computer case fan on the exterior side. This fan had some red leds built in to look cool. I liked it because I could turn around in the seat a little, and see the #### cooler was still plugged in (at night) on a bumpy road.
They're a pain in the butt, but sure beats buying an overpriced bag of ice every other day, and dumping water out of a normal cooler. -
When my last Coleman broke (fan went out), I sent it back to Coleman and they sent me a brand new one, no charge.
