Cargo vans are just about all solo . You can get decent solo runs if you are in the right area . Define "decent run " though . Rates have taken beating . They have started taking LTL backhauls . That may make customers more reluctant to pay expedite rates .
Fed Ex custom Critical drivers,? for you.

Your a idiot if you think BO is trying to solve any of our problems. Remember, he said he wanted to transform America. This guy is as Marxist as they come. You need to get off the Bush kick. It is way past time to keep blaming someone else.!!!!!! He put us in the mess, He is making it worse. They are the most lawless bunch of crooks ever to inhabit the white house!

Hello- My husband and I are not out there yet but we went to the expo in Wilmington,OH this past July. We ran into a woman who used to run the office for our former owner(He let us go unexpectedly in the middle of the recession) which is why we got out of expediting. She left him six months later and started with her own trucks. She will be putting more trucks on in October and it looks like we may be starting then with Express-1. I just hope the worst is over with this recession and it doesn't take another hit. I would hate to get back into this business and go broke all over again. But we do plan of staying in the truck. Safe driving to you also!

Thanks for getting back to me...I am sorry to hear about your previous owner. Well I hope that everything works out for you in expediting, we are also in the process of heading back out there ourselves...so hopefully we will all do well..!!

Just a FWIW regarding the living in the truck thing. If you do not have a home address (a PO Box doesn't count), the IRS will not let you claim the per diem deduction. And that's a big deduction, at $59. for each night you are not at home during the year.

Couldn't you just give the IRS a family member's address? I've found it's not ever a problem getting mail at a family member's address, especially with the same last name.
