Ok so I park at the flying j everything is good. I remember my washer fluid isn't spraying the windshield so first I hop to fuse box which may have been my mistake...I leaned over an could hear the fluid motor kick on. Hmmmm. So I hop out an yes easy fix. The t for the hoses on top of coolant resovoir had the main draw line popped off an was spraying fluid behind it. I go to put my fuse cover back in an my tractor abs comes on an stays on. I turn the truck off go buy a soda come back start the truck an lights still on. After a few minites I push the mode button on cluster to check for codes. There was one under diag. I scrolled throigh without writing it down....figured it would still be there. Sit back an all gauges besides air stop working. Digital display quit also. The lights on cluster still light so I assume its not cluster. I went over all fuses n dash an behind door. I've tried unplugging sensors at datalink junction block and j1587 dist. block to see if they would start working again. Nothing. Checked relays, ecm interface harness is good grounds are clean and tight.

When I test light datalink wires am I supposed to get light because I don't. Also I jist read a post about the datalink wires shorting out above wiper motor. Could this be my issue and if so what do I do about it

Everything else on the truck still works still runs an all that. I do have quallcomm installed

Please help asap and thank you

Start by cleaning all the grounds you can find.

After you clean all the ground wires, trade it in on a real truck.

    Problem solved.

    Columbia wasn't Freightliner's best campaign.

Look where it was spraying and check the connectors. They can leak over time.

Then again I've seen a million coincidental problems that are completely unrelated.

If you can't find anything obvious, it's time for the shop to hook up the laptop. Shorts, you usually have to isolate the harness and go from there testing.
