I don't feel like going through to the end of this thread to see if anyone has answered but check to see if your state has a reciprocity agreement with Texas. I know Texas is easy coming from another state. Besides, all states have to comply with the COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY ACT OF 1986 which dictated minimum standards in issuing a CDL. Check out http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/registration-licensing/cdl/cdl.htm for more info.

Oh they are venomous but not fatal to us unless you go into anaphylactic-shock. I've heard of people going into anaphylactic-shock with just a slight wound.

Better to take the tests in your state then just do a transfer of your learners license to Texas for 25 bucks. I figure that all the time you guys are spending in line and all, maybe I can be on the hill or otherwise doing something productive. I'll call my local DMV office tomorrow and ask them then post it.

Hey, as of 1 Sep. no night time speed limits now just the daytime ones and they have raised the speed limits from 70 to 75 for most primary highways and out West it's even faster.
-
That's Texas of course.

Just like the good ol Army, HUAW.

I'm looking at the packet the recruiter sent and they list $26.00 - Transfer out of State License to the state of Texas. so anyone have a read on that?
-
Thats if you dont have a class A CDL already.
-
Okay, here is what I read in the recruiting packet. "If you have an out-of-state License, it must be changed to a Texas license in order to get a Class A driving permit - this will be done while in school in Dallas." Nothing on the Texas DPS site about transferring a learner license, just a valid CDL and then you only have to take the eye exam and a $61.00 original license fee.
But there is so much involved so instead of trying to explain it all and get myself in trouble with the dummy police just go to this site for an explanation.
