It's the Internet. As to why people that don't or haven't worked for May posting in the "May" forums.... It's just that a forum for discussion anyone can and should join in. The companies have DAC reports to look at drivers. This is the DAC report for companies. It can't and shouldn't be all great news. This site shouldn't be for recruiting rather for drivers to get info. Good, bad, positive or negative.

theyve never charged me, I just send in an idle credit request if im over my percentage. last time i got a $100 idle bonus for being under 25% i guess. I idle whenever I need to. I hate idling though, i do though to stay cool, but I cant count the times ive woke up half frozen. I didnt hear about this 45% though, can anyone confirm this?

I think an apu would solve all idle worries for driver and company. except idling when mechanically necessary, I have no idea why they didnt go with the apu's, I remember they were considering it, but decided not to.

    I just did lol
IT IS CONFIRMED...but as I said for JULY, AUGUST, and SEPTEMBER only. The normal 20-25% is in effect, for those who want to make idle bonus, but up to 45% to stay cool and get sleep.

Joker, didn't you know? - the internet and CBs are the places for pissing matches!! lol

That was my main beef with this thread...everybody not from May piping in with 'why do you work there?' or 'I'd lock their truck up running' etc
If they work for such and amazing company, why are they trolling other company's forums? lol

Wow! Im sitting at 3.3% over idle now with 4800 miles since last weeks reset. Maybe Ill get a nice bonus, if I keep my idle down. :D

I think Ill bring that to my DMs attention in the am. lol I sure didnt hear anything about this 45%. Maybe they are hoping I idle so I cant collect much bonus. heh

Yea brother you must be running NE if your idle is only 3% I've been out 4 days started from phoenix heading to orlando,i idled 2 of the 3 nights running close to 11 hrs a day and I'm at 32%

personally i dont care about idle time,i idle when i feel it will benefit me,whether its 65 degrees, colder,or rly any temp,i might want to idle to run comp for longer...i am not a 2nd rate human being and i would quit if i were charged or had to ask for permission, the office employees get hvac and electricity on demand as well. i have frequently been at 70% idle or higher if needed w/ over 2500 miles.

i dont work at may,but i think my opinion is a benefit to thread. we wont get better pay/benefits unless we demand them, alot of these companies have very shady business models.. some of these ceo's should be in jail, the dot regulations need to be enforced,no running equipment that needs repairs, legal logging and idle time is a safety issue, not an expense.

Obviously may is doing something right, we're a trusted carrier and have more of a good rep them bad and alot of newbies, would rather come here then swift or werner who has apus I like may because they,re a small big company I can call my dm in denver and tell her my name actually anyone there and not a truck number like justa wheel holder said if u don't like it leave, I've been here over a year and this is the company I'm staying at I get treated good and they have good equipment and pay me on time the greatest benefit a company can offer is happiness and I'm happy, theres drivers that wouldn't be happy at any company and then theres the truck stop heros who complain of miles but would rather bs with other drivers all day. Only u can blame urself for failure or be proud of ur success
