WEL Trucking is horrible

I love the posts where people try to blame the company for everything. Let's not forget, the company writes your check, you don't write theirs. Yes, you don't pull the load, they don't make money. They can just as easily replace you though...

 

Hey, anyone know of any problems with WEL?

 

I won't say they're bad but I do have a complaint. Their Florida terminal is 1/10th of a mile from the entrance to the vocational school I attended to gain my CDL. I checked in with them and they said they hire students but not in Florida. Gotta have a year experience to be hired in Florida. A couple weeks later I see a guy on this forum say he's Going to Roadmaster in Tampa and has an orientation set up with Wel Company. Roadmaster, as most know, is a short CDL driver mill. My school was 10 weeks and 320 hours. Kinda pi$$ed me off.

 

It's probably one of those, they made me run eLogs stories. You know, where eLogs suck and his were broken and he tried to show the safety guy how the way he was taking off duty time during the day extends his 14 hour clock. Then his dispatcher yelled at him for too many service failures, but they weren't his fault because he's never been late, ever.

Well, this guy has worked for 3 companies and they all suck.
But there is one common denominator..ummm, what could that be?

DING DING DING, Yup, the steering wheel operator.

 

Think that has anything to do with his current dilemma?
