I was told that you cant take your truck home. Is that true? Because if it is I'm going to do the 6 days on 3 off and split seat.

Also was told we cant have a refrigerator in the truck.
I'm going to start on 9/24/11 in Green Bay,WI

If you're slip seating, then I would think the truck would have to be at a terminal when you're off.

That sounds about typical for some of the big companies if you live within a certain distance from a terminal. Talk about a pain in the backside.

You can probably take it home if the load goes thru the house...depends on dbl.

By the way, you northerners are complaining about 45 miles? Geeezzz......I have to travel twice that...

Yeah...one of the things I suggested was that they should install them. My last company was more than happy to install my big inverter. They did it very well. Put big fuses in and everything.

You would think it was a no brainer for driver retention and all. But I got laughed at and they said inverters causes fires. I said that drivers not knowing what they are doing causes fires. The shop should install them......but they are set on drivers not being comfy....
