Well I got a phone call from Mort today. I was assigned a new truck. xx334. I guess they got tired of me calling everyday asking about xx311. Would you believe it's still at Volvo? 5 weeks and even the manufacturer can't figure out what's wrong with it. Oh well, moving time Friday. I'll go to Walmart up the street from the terminal and buy my fridge. I'll pick up an invertor tomorrow sometime. I left the house with enough food that my wife prepared for me to last 16 days just in case I should go to the west coast, which I should be. I sure as hell won't be throwing any of it away. The $200.00 I'll spend for the fridge and invertor will be paid back in a very short time. Plus I have about $60.00 worth of points on my Road King Card so that will help a little.

Let me tell you how frugal (cheap) I am. I carry everything I could possibly need for breakfast, lunch and dinner with me. On my last round from the house and back I was gone 4.5 days, left the house with $50 and got back with $46 and ate like a king. Now that's frugal (cheap)!

Go to page 198, post #1977. One of our drivers put a link up showing the one he bought to replace his. It's also the one I will purchase Friday when I get to Pittston.

I'm in Frackville, and 81 has been closed on and off between here and Pine Grove since yesterday. We've gotten about 7 1/2 inches of rain here, and it's still coming:biggrin_2554:. So any and all of you guys in the area, please be careful because there are washouts and flooded roads everywhere....

Thanks. I called into dispatch and was told about all the flooding. Some of the worst is right around our terminal. I'm more concerned with the drive up from Allentown than anything else.
