Glad to hear, I guess we all jumped a little quick and made the biggest mistake of all, always check the simple things first.:biggrin_25525:

Do you have a switch on the dashboard for "Fan Control", or "Engine Fan"?

If you see such a switch, it may be turned on manually, just switch it off, fan will stop.

Check the water temperature sensors located somewhere in the coolant system, usually in the head or thermostat housing. Sensors should be a normally closed sensor so when it fails or power is taken away it will make contact and thus keep the fan running to protect your engine. Air conditioners also have trianary switch or high pressure switch that will engage the fan when the pressure gets to high or the condensor gets to hot as when your sitting still (I always turn my fan on manual anytime I park or sitting still) to protect the A/C sytem.

I would not have paid them for a service that was not rendered. They should have either found the fan problem, or apologized forecasting your time and said "no charge".
