If you fail 3 times in a row you must wait 30 days to retry. I am not sure how long you must wait between your first 3 tries and I will also add t I am by no means an expert but I think that is what the lady at BMV told me. I managed a clean sweep. :biggrin_25511:

You can only miss 20% and each state is different for # of tries

In GA, if you fail the first time you can come back the next day, fail #2 you come back next week, fail a third time and you come back in 30 days and you have to pay the permit fee again.

Permit fee is $35, $10 to take the test, and $10 for retest if needed.

When I did mine, I just did all the endorsements at once since it's one fee for as many tests as you can take.

Anyone know what it's like to come onboard as an experienced driver? Orientation would be in WI? Is regional available upon hiring? Any description on what their regional actually is? Thanks for any info!

Coming in as an experienced driver you go through 3 days of orientation. It can be at any one of the MTI schools (Cartersville, Richfield, or Trenton). Regional usually covers 6-7 of the surrounding states, depending on the terminal.

Also - going regional immediately is usually not a problem. Will just depend on location and openings. Some go OTR first then move to regional or dedicated.

Thnx to both of you! No regional in my area. I was told possibly can hire me OTR, but getting me home will be a big problem. So I guess I'm not going to be able to apply.

Memphis is not a real big freight area for millis. They do have some places they pick up and deliver but not a whole lot.
