Saw a Bee-Line truck today with "San Antonio, TX" underneath it - might be just a similarly named company.

Slickricky - yes, please get me that number - thanks.

That could be the same company...I'm not sure though. The # to the San Antonio office is 210-654-4547.

slickricky, are you still with these guys? I talked to Matt in recruiting today and seems an up and up deal for the lease. I gave it a shot with 2 o/o's that BOTH but it to me since being back out, and I'm done. Bee-Line seems to be the only company from Htown doing leases at thsi time, unless I'm just not finding anyone else.

Anyways, my laptop crapped out and I finally got it back today, just thought i would check in and see how they are treating you!! Matt told me to do all the paperwork, then wait for the drug test and orientation as they have no trucks to lease out right now! I suppose thats a good thing, but .....anymore info on these guys would make me happy!!

    Thanks again:)

    Hey Chop,

Yeah, I'm still at beeline. If I can remember correctly, Ive been running with them since february. Can't complain....doing the lease purchase here is a steal. I haven't heard any real complaints on the equipment from others. They've stuck by their word in providing a dependable truck.

Running flatbed, the revenue is top notch with this company. I ran dry van for a few months until I got enough revenue to get the headache rack and tarps to run flatbed. I still switch out with van every once in a while which is nice to have that option. but I mostly run flatbed (95% of the time).

I'm not too sure about any other lease purchase programs in houston today, but I know there weren't any comparable programs when I was looking at the beginning of the year.

Hopefully my input helps you a little.

Yeah, your input def. helps!! They seem like a straight up operation. It seems to be a good thing that they don't have trucks open up much, to me that says something about who they have leasing and how they keep those trucks making money. Do you know if the lease is a walk away or if they hold you to something if things don't work out?

The purchase is a walk away. Hopefully it won't ever get to that point for me...

Yeah, I wouldnt go into it hoping for that type of situation, but was curious. Been talking with Matt and he said he'll call me mon/tues to line up orientation if I'm still interested. He said they will have a truck ready this next week and I suppose I'm first on the list or something cause he's offered it to me if I want it.

We'll see what happens. It's between and another small dry van place based from houston. I'm hoping the 2nd place offers me soemthing before bee-line honestly, but I'm keeping options open at this point!>

    Thanks again.

Welp, its official. I signed my lease and contract today and will get my truck Monday. It got turned in yesterday and they had it at the shop this a.m. ready to get checked over. So far they are what they say. Matt is very helpful and a nice person to deal with, I hope everyone else I have dealings with here is like him. We went and checked the truck out. I asked them to look at the power mirror, brakes on the rears and to adjust the clutch. We went inside and told the owner and that was that. Also, they looked up the last known service on the truck and its just under 10k and they are giving me a fresh service as well. I like when you ask a "new employer" a question and they give you an answer pertaining to what was asked. I talked with Dart/Prime and JB and all 3 of them could never answer a direct question, seems they like to reroute their answers into a slick sales gimmec.

Anyhow, Like you mentioned Slick, I haven't found another lease deal within Htown so I went for this one. The truck payment monthly is less then anyone else I talked with. INS is a little pricey for my taste but certainly nothing to cancel a deal over.

We discussed a couple customers they haul for now and he was telling me the rates (unheard off if I might add) for the vans and if those rates are true and that freight is steady like they say, then ####.....I'm happy I called these guys.

Anyways, hopefully things work out for the best and I can't remember the last time I was this anxious to get back on the road. Safe travels and Keep in touch!! I'm sure we'll run across one another at some point!

Slickricky and porkchop, how is it going with bee-line? Thinking about doing the lease purchase deal. Give me an idea of avg take home pay weekly please, and also what type and year models of trucks are there to choose from? Thanks!
