Tmc is a great company to work for, provided you can get along with the program. They are on the strict side. Many drivers as well as me have no problems, some do. If you act like a kid or be a hot head, it wont work. If your mature and have common sense, it can work. As far as regional, being in md you can be home almost every weekend, depending on the load and your fleet manager. Now if its thursday, your in ohio and get a load for alabama, your not getting home. Just part of the job. I live in so jersey and only stayed out 2 weekends the time i was on line haul. If your from the frederick area, ya might be able to get on the tamko dedicated with some time with the co. Any other questions, just ask.

Well made it through first week of orientation! We lost 3 due to medical reasons! Started securement training lost another 1 there couldn't lift 140 pound tarp! Have last day of securement today! Start the fun stuff tomorrow driving time! They do use a 13 speed transmission so something new! But when in simulator didn't have tpoo much trouble with it! The trucks are super nice top of the line! Well hoping I get a trainer close to home! Oh yeah TMC only accepts about 10 percent of applications! Also if you are coming by greyhound give yourself extra time! My 26 hour bus ride turned into 36 hours straight! Good luck tto everyone!

Thats why I flew there, I didn't want to ride a bus for 26+ hours. Some from my area that took the bus didn't get in till late Sunday night like after 11pm. Class starts bright and early at 6 am the next day. I was there at 11am Sunday and had the whole day to relax. I highly recommend flying if you can afford it. TMC does (or at least they did) will pay you the max cost of a bus ticket which for me $160 I think.

Sucked about home time and was a hell hole??? How about some reasons behind your beef. I'm just swaying Home time is great and everything else is great at TMC, at least in my experience so far over the past year.

Did they specify the medical reasons? How are they about sleep apnea?
