I guarantee banning truck drivers from using hands free cell phones will stop 100% of accidents. Now everyone can be totally safe on the road and live to pay taxes a little longer.

Thank you politicians! Keep up the great work!

Let's trade away more freedom for yet another ######## safety reason.

    like you should be talking....
you have no exp. driving a semi so until you know what you are talking about keep your mouth shut.

Canada has already tried this but it doesnt stop crashes from the 4wheels that are the biggest problem.

maybe. i tend to read into things and get a feel for what someone is saying.

if he is; sorry. just its a bit unprofessional to say something that is not true in any aspect especially with no exp. on the road. i know it say 2 yrs for me but having my DL as a DL for over 10yrs does give me some advantage

texting should have never been introduced. dont think that sounds logical: look at the amount of crashes that occur due to inattentive driving from txting compared to about 10 yrs ago when txting was non-existent.

no cell phone no work not all companies have qualcoms. but its okay to read that when driving? if your hands free with head set it shouldnt interfere with operating the equipment. if it does you shouldnt be operating. cause you cant keep eyes on road while listening or speaking. your driving a tractor 1st priority, not sittin at home gabbing on phone. plus if youve noticed there arent to many pay phones around to use any more to call in from for your load. FUBAR!

In my experience with Qualcoms, they shut down when the truck is in motion.

    They do chirp though,,,,:biggrin_25526:
