Unique truck accident

Volvo FM towed dump trailer and lost control on skid road and hit bus.

One young lady in bus was not seriously injured. Bus driver is OK, trucker is Ok too, but cab is ruined. Bus is really tought for so dangerouse accident.

I'm really surprized no one was killed ore seriously injured.

And as we can see sometimes cabs considered safe are not so tought as we use to think.

 

It hapenned in Mariupol, Ukraine. this cab is concidered good on frontal crash, roll over crash, but how was it possible to cut roof out with small bus? Bus body is made of steel bars and plastic panels and it is really tought, but its weight is about 5 000 kg only.... seems to me this cab passed Swedish cab test but failed crazy bus test)) LOL

 

I never rent cars in Asia, but belive me, be careful in Italy and Greece too!

some details of accident. Truck was speeding and could not stop or red in time and was hit with bus at 40 MPH. Young lady walked to door becouse her stop was soon (of course violation).

I'm really surprized that trucker's head was not "separated" with bus. How was it possible to ruin legendary Volvo cab? FM cab shares substructure and many other parts with VN cab. and as I know Volvo cab is concidered safe all over the world
