I understand where you are coming from sir. I would start out by going Reefer as you will keep moving and the miles will be consistent for the most part of the year. Companies like JBS and Prime will keep you moving. Having said that, I would check out Schneider as well as they have dedicated near you. If you do drive for five years and have no wrecks, violations etc..., You could probably drive part time and collect benefits. Theres a member on here who hauls mail part time.

With where you live, you may want to give TWT a look, their a reefer outfit out of Spokane,WA. They only run west coast, real nice equipment. They also have a flatbed division, System Transport. They cover 48 states. Good luck to ya.The Challenger Thanks this.

yes it does been local about a year and a half and I miss it just trying to find decent company to go with got accepted to JBS but still doing my research

Well I'll just say in a year of waiting half my life for a door I made $41,000 my first year and doing drop and hook dry loads barely made $20,000 in a year. If I'm waiting half my life for a door then I should still be waiting for a door but almost have an Associates degree from a college after I quit trucking so apparently it doesn't take that long to get a door just saying.

I hear people at Central Refrigerated dont make any money at all if you go with the lease owner operater option. It's designed for you to pay all your monies into their truck and all other expenses, while you make nothing at all for yourself. If I'm wrong about that but that is mostly what I've read..all bad.
