where do i start. henderson used to be a great company to work for. but thats the past. now not so much. if you want to work for a company that can never get you home on time ( the day you need to be there) this is the place. if you want to work for a company that has a high safety rating with DOT. 99 out of 100 (thats not good folks). pre pass sent me a letter the other day saying that they were going to turn off my pre pass because hendersons rating was so bad, so now i get stopped and harrassed by DOT at every checkpoint. this is the place for you. if you want to work for a company that cant give you enough miles to survive and doesnt have enough team freight for teams to get more than 4500 miles a week. come on down. they got a spot for you. i am a owner operator. i have worked here almost 3 years and in that time i have seen many changes. none of them good for the drivers. and not so good for the company either. the son that is in charge of the company now ,has taken a multi million dollar company and run it into the ground. there may not be a recovery. there are actually companys out there that have quit using us to haul their freight because our rating is so high. there have been so many of my friends come and go. now most work somewhere else. sure henderson has new equipment but the trucks aren't worth a dam. i think they put those new cascadias together with used parts. every truck henderson bought the windshield leaks not to mention all the other mechanical problems that have kept them in the shop and off the road. just about every truck has had to have a new rack and pinion steering installed, wheel seals going out with less than 200,000 miles, starters failing, alternators replaced , numerous a/c replacements. you'll get tired of being in the shop and not on the road. i garontee.

Go to E.L Henderson on Facebook. Their safety rating has improved and prepass is back. The 1st post here is fairly old twentyninetimes.

I just left there. Ran as a team for 3 months. Could NOT get a prepass because their safety rating or whatever it is was way too high. Trucks are worthless. Miles arent there............. on and on.....

Read the Basic CSA report lets see here Drivers NOT wearing a Seatbelt is MOST of the Carriers issue Short of not letting the truck start without the Seatbelt fastend your not going to fix that problem. 24 tickets issued then Speeding I want to know where that driver got picked up for speeding more than 15 over with a truck goverend out to 62 MPH.
