Hi,
I am searching for something I suppose you truckers must have to do your job: a list of gas stations selling diesel 24h. I plan to drive from Montreal (QC, Canada) to Yellowstone soon. More than half of my trip will be on highway 90. I would like to get any available information about where to get diesel 24h on that road, I don't want to get stuck in the midle of the night without fuel.
Thanks,
Simon Martineau

Simon, will this help you? http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...uck-stops-here/24858-truckstop-locations.html

I was going to suggest the same thing, just a tip, fuel up in Fargo, once you get going across SD there isn't a whole lot of anything till you get near rapid city (although you will still find small fuel stops).
Also, if you use the truck stops, pay attention since you will NOT want the large, truck diesel island, but an RV island (which may, still be next to the truck diesel). -
Thank you guys, that's exacly what I needed.

Hey, Simon (if you're back on this board after your trip!)
Just wondered what you're driving... Since you're looking for diesel locations, I'm assuming you're driving a personal diesel vehicle.
Reason I'm wondering is because I own a Volkswagen Jetta TDI (a diesel, in other words.) It's always fun to pull a car up to a diesel pump and watch people's expressions! -
You want to see some really funny expressions, then pull up in an old MB diesel (my folks used to have a 78 240D). That clattertrap always got looks, esp when the muffler fell off, that POS was LOUD!

Speaking of rare diesels, I have an 84 Ford Ranger with a 2.2L Perkins Diesel. Very rare(and slow) engine but 34MPG aint bad! I wouldnt care if it got 20, I just love listening to it!
No weird looks that Ive seen.

I had a friend that had the Ford Ranger diesel, and I can truly say that I have never in my life seen a vehicle so unable to get out of it's own way. Not one of Ford's better ideas. If I had one, I think I would have gotten the engine out and melted the truck down for belt buckles.

Very true! 56HP does have its disadvantages and advantages. Cheap and reliable but parts are hard to get ahold of.
This truck has also taught me a valuable lesson that I will need once I go OTR...and it is Patience...and to get used to being passed.
I dont know why, but it seems like the SUVs just HAVE to nail the throttle when they pass me. Im thinking they must have used about 1/2 gallon of gas to do that.

I have two of those!
But if you REALLY!!! want to get looks then pull your tractor up to the GAS pumps!! I have had the clerk come running out of the store yelling at me as I was pumping gas into my tractor. lol (I had a honda generator on a custom sleeper we had once upon a time)
