20 miles to the first scale, but its been closed everytime ive been by it. Im heading out about 2 AM so hopefully it will be closed.

Next one is 250 miles away, so should be down about 300 lbs by then. With this heavy frickin load and mountains most of the way Im only gettin about 6 MPG.

Well, you COULD poke a hole in the tank...then use plumbers putty to plug it up later!

    You're welcome.

The refer will use about 7 gallons in 10 hours. That is 56 lBs. Now all internal ohio scales are closed, so don't worry about them.
I never go around a scale more expensive ticket and with pre pass the green light no problem.

Kind of suspicious that their scale is not working when,oh your at 80500 lbs, hmmmm. And there is no local scale for 80 miles in the direction your heading.Imagine that.So heres what you do.get a shovel, back up to the nearest dumpster, shovel 500 lbs in,your good.Nobody will know unless their is a seal on.Obviously they dont care about you.

I thought of that lol, but I had already put the seal on. Learned lesson there :p

I did make it. Ohio scale was closed, as was the West Virginia scale. Virginia scale was closed too :D

Then I hit N Carolina. Scale open. Soon as I hit the weigh in motion pad on the interstate I get the red light. Git a lump in my throat. Pullk on the scale and sit there for what seemed an eternity, and finally get a green light to roll on. Wheeew .....

Sitting in Maxton,NC waiting to unload, then a load from here to Paris,TX and back to Maxton. Then a couple days at home :D

Good thing that scale master didn't have his shoes and socks off.
