I have delivered loads out there to the JW aluminium plant in russellville, from the JW Aluminium in SC. It is a nice ride. Ate at the cracker barrell in Little Rock and there was a rodeo going on around the corner.

I've thought about going to work here too

Tyson hires lumpers to unload their trailers.

150 Miles
No in most cases. We were told that a couple and that is just (2 or 3 places NOT companies, locations)that the truck has to be unloaded by the the driver. Those are very very few. All other customers use lumpers.
I have just 2 to 3 more hours left for Friday to finish with my orientation. I will be living out Monday sometime.
As far as school they only use a few selected schools. You can call the number on the website and they will point you in the right direction. THEY DO NOT USE CDL mills like the old Alliance Truck Driving School. The trainers are in the jump seat not in the sleeper. So you can learn and want be used as an ATM machine for the trainer.
They have 3 terminals New Holland, PA, Wilkesboro, NC and Springdale, AR and 2 places orientation will be done Wilkesboro, NC and Springdale, AR.
I'm going there with 17 years experience and like what I've seen so far. The drivers I have talked to like it because the miles are there to run.
They have APU's and the trucks are set to 67mph. -
Msheets I live in MD about 80 miles from the New Holland PA terminal and I'm thinking about applying. Do you have to park the truck at the terminal or do they let you take it home for hometime empty?
-
I was told by a couple of the newhire New Holland drivers that some of them can. But the Wilkesboro NC terminal has a much more strict policy. You would need to call the terminal and see.
