Yes, so long as you are not performing some on-duty function like counting pipe joints, directing loading, etc. I would log it as sleeper-berth though (assuming the truck you are driving has one). Strictly speaking, the oilfield exemption (which allows logging off-duty in a truck) does not cover the types of trucks nor work that you or your employer are doing. (I don't have time at the moment, but I will post the regulation here later today)

Im just sitting there doing nuthing work related. With the elogs as soon as you get your two hours off duty, your driving time starts counting down regardless if your off or on SB

It will until you have 8 hours consecutive SB, or cumulatively get 10 hours in 2 periods with the least period being 2 hours consecutively, then it should adjust.

Here are links to "NSC Standard 9 Hours of Service" and the "Commercial Vehicle Drivers Hours of Service Regulations Application Guide". At the very least you should download them, but you may want to print hard copies as well.

    Yes... I think. :biggrin_25523:

Chris said it has gone to the radio guy.

Shaunavon should be done Tue/Wed. One day to move, and then off we go again.

    Thanks again.

P.S. You should PM me your address.
