As long as they don't make it mandatory for us to actually get behind the wheel of one of those trucks before granting us our DL!
gonzotrucker Thanks this. -
The op is full of crap. He might own a 1997 coupe vette. not a c6 zr1 630hp car.
We laughed at him on a vette board and I'm laughing at his trolling now.
I own A 2004 c5 z06 , we laughed at the OP long ago on a vette board.
A troll wanting to shack up with drivers. if i have some time will post up his ramblings about paying for a ride in a c6 all expenses paid.
male to male interaction paying for sex. Not my business. but when trolling boards in disguise it is my business to give the obvious intent of the OPLast edited: Sep 18, 2011

Not all truckers are like this. Seriously most insurance and co policy prohibits this though. You should be able to find someone who doesn't care and will take you anyway if you're serious. I probably would but I only have one bed lol. Good luck to you

Two things:
1. One of the companies I used to work for would send each of their dispatchers to ride along for a week with a driver at least once a year. That way, the dispatchers could know first hand what was going on. Of course the company could authorize it and they would also pay for a hotel room for both the driver and dispatcher.
2. To the OP - stay classy. You came here and didn't like our responses and now you are gone. You don't have to bother coming back, either.7122894003481 Thanks this. -
My co lets me bring whoever I want with me as long as I pay the insurance $17.50/2 weeks. I actually enjoy the company and find it fun to open someones eyes up to a world they know nothing about. I have several friends that want to ride along this winter and I only have 1 stipulation. My sleeper is a single bunk so unless you are a cute female then during my 10 hour break I get 8 hours sleeping alone in the bunk. The passenger can nod off in the shotgun seat, or I have mobile internet and a laptop, plus various video games and an extensive movie collection. passenger can take naps in the bunk while I'm driving if they wish.

Riding along is alot different then actually driving and dealing w the loads, I think. I just ride along w my hubby and enjoy the view! He deals with all the load stuff. I help him with certain stuff but I dont usually open the trailer doors or check him in. But living in close quarters can be challenging at times. I hope you look past some of the above comments and keep looking. It is a different view at life. I've learned alot about life since coming out here last Nov. I used to work at a truck stop before I met him. And to ur comment that all drivers are a@@holes; some are just lonely and crabby at times. Seriously think about it they sit in their trucks (alone) all day and night. they're also woman drivers maybe that would be better than going out with a guy you dont know/trust. But same can probably be said for a female just be sure its someone you trust to be with for a week or two. Be safe!
