    What are the basic specs for flatbed owner operator trucks for:

    1. 2003 - 2011 Trucks ?

    2. 1991 - 2002 Trucks ?

    Boyd, Melton, Maverick and Hunt are all in the flat top aero trucks, Prostars, K660s, Cascadias. Probably standard fleet specs, 475hp, 13sp, maybe auto, I only see Pete' hoods at TMC.

    Company flatbed trucks usually are spec'd with 400-450hp motors, direct drive 10spds or automatics and 2.64 rears. All in areo style trucks, mainly Cascadias now.

    O/O trucks I see pulling flats are usually hoods with 475-550hp motors, 13spd trans and 3.55 rears or used Maverick trucks.
