Excellent point on the phishing scams, and yes they are a plenty on craigslist. I have a email account for just such incidents and use it for anything that could be phishy, pun intended.
My thoughts are to ask for the company name and phone number in a polite and professional email inquiry in reference to the posting, if they will not provide that information I just drop the response to my spam box.
I have all my personal information scanned to pdf files and will not forward anything unless they are reputable with confirmation. My humble opinion is this, anyone who provides even a resume to strangers is an idiot.

Run away from craigslist ads for drivers! I've heard nothing but horror stories from them.

I found my current local gig through Craigslist and it has been good. Do not get me wrong, some CL ones are pure BS. Bonus, CFI, Sunstate, USX, and Heartland advertise a whole lot on CL. Roadmaster has been as well. I have seen some good ads out there but they usually get deleted within a day or two of posting. I have been seeing this one a whole lot:

Kinghunter since you live in Florida I'll ask you have you ever heard anything about Sunstate or Bonus or Service trucking? I've posted and searched on here and I haven't found much or gotten much response on either. Thanks.

My father runs for Service out of Eustis, FL.

Hows he like them? Are they big flower haulers?

Mostly Orange juice out of florida and meat, chicken, frozen food, etc back in. No flowers that I know of.
If you are a team I know they will keep you busy running Washington state, Oregon, back to FL all day long.
They do have some local trucks running around the farms in Central FL too, but I don't any specifics about them.jellybean Thanks this. -
I loaded next to a sunstate driver the other day and he is very happy with them. Good equipment with APU's and good miles but the starting pay was low.32 mile

Do y'all happen to know if Sunstate and Service hire CDL school grads?
