For me, I'm moving back to Idaho. Now that my parents are gone, there is no reason for me to stay in Texas. When I get repairs done on the home here and money saved up, I'm packing up. I miss the 4 seasons, hunting, fishing, etc.
Got to get back where my heart is.DenaliDad Thanks this. -

They all look alike, but we have four! -
And in Alaska, we have four seasons, too: June, July, August, and Winter.

This is why I will always be true to Oregon. If you want two seasons you stay in the valley, if you want four you move to the east. Oregon is like two different countries separated by mountain ranges. I love my home, and never plan to leave it. I have lived all over the world as a Military Brat and have never settled in another place because it is not home. I am a true Oregon man, the rivers are my oasis, and the woods fill my freezer every year. Between my gentleman's ranch and hunting I haven't bought meat in years.
Two more days and I am on the plane to Dallas. My girls are excited for me, they just dont understand why they cannot come yet. My oldest daughter asked me if I was gonna miss her Birthday this year, I told her I would most likely. She assured me there would be a piece of her cake for me when I get back home....... with a smile.
Cannot wait to get this all started. Update you all soon!!Last edited: Sep 20, 2011

Well Rattlebunny & Dryver, you may recall my problem of having 32 days with my first trainer and still missing two zones (A & C) and a mountain. Well it is 52 days in a truck and today I just crossed over into Pennsylvania on the way to Connecticut to complete my requirements for OR-1. It will take a few days to get back to the yard but I'm finished. I just want to warn those after me to be on the look out fo trainers that will you as a mule to pull their wagons. If you can drive and can do about 500-600 miles a day they will use you like my first guy used me. He had no intentions of seeing to it that I met my requirements. He would repower as long as he could to keep racking up the miles. This guy should not be a trainer.

Triple D,
You will get a chance to grade your trainer when you're in OR-2. Be sure and be succint, point this out, but not sound bitter. Randall and Bill both read those 'report cards' and use them to upgrade trainers.Corporal_Clegg Thanks this. -
