We had a local that got inspected, and came by our place and asked to borrow some standard knobs to put on so he could get his ticket signed off. This was in CA, and I couldn't honestly tell you if his aftermarket knobs were labeled or plain. But according to him, DOT said yellow diamond for tractor and red octogon for trailer.

Yeah. I want to do the knobs for fun. Not going to do other stuff. I can take them with me. Good one, though :)
