Thank everyone for all the info, I ended up agreeing to go with Willis Shaw Express. They appear to be a good starter company, I will be starting orientation with them on Tuesday.

"Back in the day" and you put 2005???
OK I'm climbing back in my chair after rolling on the floor doing all that laughing stuff!!
Back in the day and your profile says student?
    What?
Are you like 23 or something? "Back in the day" isn't 6 years ago! Back in MY day with them in 2003 they were already a building full of idiots and thought everyone who sat in that 40 chair orientation room was also!

    Decent?
    In 2005??
They were already getting slammed in other threads and at the counters at the truck stops! They haven't had a "decent" day since they started that ripoff sublease/rental plan of theirs!

Then to add a little more to your post, you are still picking 3 of the worst companies besides this one to drive for on your list!

You really need to do a tad bit more research before you throw any more money away!

I can't wait to hear how this turns out!

Werner is going to pay you less money. Not exactly sure about Trans Am. The thing about pulling a reefer. You have to drive all night, after you have been up all day. There is always going to be a lot of live unloads when you pull a reefer. Best of luck to you.

actually i am 32. i didn't say they where great, i said decent. having read the us xpress thread on here, the team drivers seem to be happy. Solo drivers not so much, which is why i will be going team.
don't know if anyone else knows this but the guy who owns trans am also owns the freight liner dealership down the road and the meat packing company behind it so he is making a ton of money.

OH! STOP IT! I'm laughing body parts off now! I love it when this happens!

I actually can't wait for how Johnnie owns part of the Petro out at exit 28 Oak Grove! Or do the drivers still get free showers there?

Well it was nice not to have to have that shower ticket or on the card. Sucks for the drivers but I guess Johnnie blew a good thing.
