Has anybody ever seen one of those combo toylet sinks like they have in jail put in a truck? THey are nasty in jail but they take up NO SPACE and are easy to keep clean. http://www.albertsterling.com/penal-ware.htm Are these expensive to buy new? I think you could probably get a used one from salvage when they was tearing down and old facility and as long as you pressure washed it and made sure all the pipes and washers were ok, you'd be good to go if you could fit it in a sleeper and rig a water tank and a waste tank. I know some of those fancy custom jobs have toilets but this sucker would never wear out. Any thoughts?

Just getting into the biz, I dount that I could ever get use to having one of those "jail house Johns" in my truck. Now it might be nice in a custom sleeper but I hear some say those custom jobs can cost just as much as the truck itself.

I dont think I would want to roll over and be face to "face" with a spot that I sit on to get rid of waste:biggrin_2554: but, thats just me

I make a serious post about what I think is a good ideer and it brings out the wise guys. DO YOU THINK I'D PUT THE TOYLET NEXT TO MY HEAD.....NO! I tell you what, if you go to do a project like this, get yourself some cheap fiberglass junk that will crack when you hit a pothole or a bump in the rode and I will have stainless that lasts- the only thing is I need some sort of lid that closes tight for this reason just like in any mobil toylet. I'm gonna go look at camper toylets and see how they do it cause I dont have a camper.

wasn't laughing at the idea. it's actually a good idea if you can get it to work and have no smell in the cab.
