I'm done. Putting my 2 week notice in. I have to get out. 4 years is long enough. They refuse to preplan or figure out to do this garbage with the E-Logs. I believed in this company and they turned around and treat us like dirt. We lost a lot of good drivers who've been here for years. I'm leaving as well.

You are absolutely correct joseph1135 the drivers are posting that there is a terminal for lessor in florida well if there is the so called COMPANY POLICY on health insurance (no other bene just health insurance) will not stand up in Our Florida court system.....lol....ask Con-way truckload in joplin. The technicality comes into play because they do not use an outside dispatch service and the trucks are equipped with electronic logs correct...Florida Statute 217.05 covers that. A employing company cannot set benefit packages for employees based upon hours worked or miles driven for truckers if they are in total control of the hours scheduled or miles dispatched ....that forms a mini-monopoly for the company so they control expenditures for benefit packages. Nice $10,000 fine and 96 hour shut down package is the gift a company gets if found guilty of violating that statute.

old lessor called me up one day. they wanted me to come to orentation at the florida terminal. I started getting a feeling it would be a mistake to go to work for them. a shiney wraper doesn't make up for what's inside.

I worked for Lessors for almost 5 yrs. Asked for a raise and was told the request was already put in. Busted my butt for five long yrs and my reward was nothing I ended up qiuting after I was told I was going to get it and it wasn't on my check 6 weeks later.
Got two maybe three people robbing the company blind and I couldn't get a raise to supposrt my kids and pay for daycare while I was at work.
Thanks Lessors for 5 yrs of nothing. My Three yr old is very appreatitve.

When I first started at Lessors I loved it thought it was the greatest place ever.
Did everything I was asked to do over the course of 5 yrs. DOT Training, a/c training did dan job half the time cause he can't order the right parts even if ya write it down on paper still gets it wrong so he fired off at me one day and I just walked out after he told me I could go. Calls me at home the next morning at 805am central time telling me I have to come in a sign my resignation paper work after I worked on 300 truck alone for 8 weeks.
Just happened to be the day after my daughter was diognosed with Scarlet fever at age 3.
Thats the type of company lessors is. Working side by side with the all the bosses and owners for 5 yrs being honest doesnt pay at this company at all.
Insurance if you have kids, don't do it. it's 599.68 a month with a 5000.00 deducable yr. Worthless... I so scared to even have it my name I had to cancel it yrs. ago.
The reward is: There is no reward.

I have been with Lessors for a month now and have absolutely no compliants! I have been in this industry for over 23 yrs and every company has its good and bad and for me it is finding a happy medium for what I am looking to do.

As for sitting, I haven't experienced much of it. I know that as a industry, we are sitting in slump right now and what I mean is that freight is slower right now but I know with the holidays right around the corner that freight will pick up and that I will hopefully stay busy...I won't know for a bit though.

When I came to Lessors, I knew ahead of time what my pay would be and what benefits the company offered. I know that I am eligible for a $.005 pay increase every 6 months. I still have some time before my benefits to kick in but the cost for just me for medical insurance is only $15 week. I know that this cost is significantly higher if I would insure a spouse if I had one. But still, this is very reasonable for just me.

So from what I know about Lessors so far is that they are a good company to work for. I think that there is alot of negative feedback on this website and that drivers need to know that this isn't a bad company to work for. Many of the posts here are by the same people who have had a bad experience. Its always easier to remember the bad and never acknowledge the good.

My suggestion is to read all the posts with an open mind and make your own decisions and ask intelligent questions when speaking to Lessors recruiting or for that matter any trucking company recruiter.

In MY experience,it is not wise to sing a company's praises right from the get go,as for whatever reason they have for this;one usually gets the gravy runs at first, and all is good,-for awhile.

As I hope all is well with you and that company 3-6 months from now, give it time for an accurate summation. Just My Opinion.
